Red Anchor Properties is a family-run property business founded by Joanne and James \u2014 a partnership built on shared values, complementary strengths, and a deep commitment to community.<\/span><\/p>

With over 20 years of financial experience and more than a decade in the buy-to-let market, Joanne brings a wealth of expertise in budgeting, financial sustainability, and investment optimisation. Her background as a Chartered Accountant within the NHS provides the business with a solid foundation in budgeting and cash flow, strategic planning and resource management.<\/span><\/p>

James is a dedicated funeral director, known for his compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail \u2014 qualities that naturally extend into property management and development as well as being a project manager in a previous role. He is also an active volunteer with the Boys’ Brigade and serves as a Trustee of a Youth Camping Centre based in Snowdonia, reflecting his strong commitment to youth development and the outdoors.<\/span><\/p>

Together, we combine financial know-how, operational discipline, and community values to grow Red Anchor Properties \u2014 a business that specialises in transforming tired houses into high-quality, energy-efficient homes. Our aim is to create win-win-win outcomes for tenants, investors, and the local communities we serve.<\/span><\/p>

As parents to three children, we understand the importance of creating homes \u2014 not just houses \u2014 and balancing business with family life. This helps us design spaces that are practical, modern, and built for real living.<\/span><\/p>
